Hello! I just wanna share one of my experiences. It took place at Bundaran HI on May 12 2012. It was held to keep us remember how tragic it was 14 years ago when 4 of our former students were shot during their fight for revolution, and justice yet to be put in action until today. Actually the event began on May 11, called ‘Malam Gelora’, continued with ‘Upacara’ and ‘Aksi Damai’. But I just attended ‘Aksi Damai’.

First, we all gathered at Kampus A at 9.30 to take roll, get a purple ribbon, and eat while waiting for another faculty to arrive. At around 13.00, everyone was gathering at Tugu Reformasi to listen to speeches. Finally at 14.00 we headed to Bundaran HI with Kopaja. There were a lot of people and we created traffic because ‘satgas’ and ‘satgab’ had to stop other traffic to allow our vehicles to pass. When we arrived at Bundaran HI, we took over  the road and busway track, and people were staring at us due to the large amount of students and we were all wearing an almamater jacket. The dentistry faculty was most protected due to larger amount of female members. We walked and sang toward Bundaran HI. There, we sat and took pictures. Unfortunately at 17.00, the dentistry faculty had to go back before the program ended, but another faculty stayed to continue ‘Aksi Damai’. There were traffic on the way home and when we arrived back at kampus B, we took roll again, got some food, and were allowed to leave.

I got sunburnt, but I think it was worth the experience. You have to be a part of this program to understand the experience. It’s an unforgettable moment.

Why is love intensified by absence?

We both know how this is gonna end but still insist to keep these things going.

it’s funny how we used to talk for hours and now we pretend like we never knew each other.
